Supportive Picnics- We may have learned during the recent LA fires all we really have in life is each-other and the love we share, material things can burn in a second.  Originally designed to be supportive spaces for survivors of sexual abuse, after the LA fires the Free Love Movement has expanded Supportive Picnics to any community member who may need support for any reason.  The Free Love Movement strives to not only provide career support but mental health support and love! Studies overwhelming show the number one factor in success, healing, and positive health outcomes is love and a supportive community. Supportive Picnics are not like AA or other support groups that have a million rules and strict formats, Supportive Picnics are free form and go with the flow.  Supportive Picnics are a secular alternative for spirituality and community, however we welcome all faiths and beliefs to our manifestations, so bring your crystals, rosary, Yameka, or pentagram. Potluck.  420 friendly.  Saturdays or Sundays at a park near you!

Love Parties- love parties are vibrant events open to anyone 21+ but generally are attended by people in the entertainment industry. Love parties are a mixture of a professional networking event, a circus performance, a live music show, an art gallery opening, and a sex party. If you are an artist that would like to perform or display your art please contact us! Finger food and beverages served, BYOB and potluck also welcome but not required. Love party attendees will be given colored bracelets to correspond to their preferred love languages so we can get to know how each community member experiences love, whether that be "words of affirmation", "gifts", "acts of service", "physical touch", or "quality time".  It is possible to wear one bracelet or 2 or all 5.  The goal of the Love parties is for every attendee to leave with a solid business connection which will lead directly to a profitable opportunity.  We ask everyone come to these events with the mindset, "how can I give love and support community members?" rather than "what is in it for me?".   The goal is to shift the self-centered, pretentious entertainment industry into a more caring, supportive, and healthy entertainment industry.
Spring 2025 dates coming soon!
Free Love Movement Rules
We don't have many rules, we're go with the flow hippies, but we do have a few important rules.
1. Free Love events are for people 21+ only.  ID will be checked.
2. No uptight attitudes, anyone being uptight, pretentious, judgmental, self-centered, or elitist will be excommunicated from the Free Love Movement.
3. No beverages over 15% alcohol content, beer and wine are ok but no hard alcohol.  We want people to be able to loosen up a little, but we don't want anyone to be drunk, this is a positive movement with a commitment to self-betterment and health. Anyone intoxicated will be asked to leave Free Love events. 420 is ok.
4. Commitment to self betterment- we welcome everyone to the Free Love Movement, it doesn't matter so much where you are now, but more so, whether you are on an upwards or downwards trajectory in your life.  Everyone in the Free Love Movement must make a personal commitment to self-betterment, everyone in the movement must commit to improving themselves and their communities.
5.  Consent- each act of touch beyond a handshake must be asked for consent.  For example, "can I give you a hug?", "can I touch your waist?", "can I dance with you?".  If in doubt, ask for consent.  If the answer is not an enthusiastic 100% "yes" then it is a "no".  Do not try to convince or coerce anyone.  One "no" is all that is needed, do not ask again! We want everyone, especially women, to feel comfortable, we want people to feel safe to open themselves up to form loving, trusting, connections.  Especially since we welcome survivors of sexual abuse to the Free Love Movement, they may have had former bad experiences with touch so it is very important these survivors can feel safe and heal in a positive environment.
The consequences for violating consent, even if it is just a simple phrase of sexual harassment or just touching someone's waist without consent will be dire.   Firstly, we will call the police and make a report immediately and we will press changes, secondly, an offender will be permanently banned from the Free Love Movement.  Thirdly, an email will be sent out to the hundreds of people in our email list, to every professional guild in the entertainment industry, SAG, PGA, DGA, etc. plus an announcement on our Instagram and website naming and picturing the offender and describing exactly what they did to violate consent rules. We will then suggest to our entire community to forward the email to everyone they know and suggest not to ever work with this offender again.  So essentially if one violates consent rules in the Free Love Movement, we will make sure thousands of people find out about it (the victim's privacy will be protected).  If you feel at all like you may have a hard time following consent rules, skip our events and instead check yourself into intensive therapy!
There are no excuses for violating consent rules, "I come from a touchy-feely culture" or "it was different back in my day" are not excuses.
If you know of someone who has a reputation for sexual harassment or inappropriate conduct, please use the "contact" page to send us a report about it so we can make sure these individuals are not allowed into our events to begin with.  We screen event attendees and would like to prevent these predatory individuals from ever even attending our events.
